  1. Tamworth have won the Staffordshire Senior Cup on four separate occasions. Most recently in 2002.

  2. Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson who won the FA Cup with The Gunners in 1993, joined Tamworth in 2006 making just one appearance for the team against Halifax Town before retiring from professional football.

  3. From 2000-2007 kit manufacturers designed Tamworth’s home and away strips.

  4. Since being crowned Conference North Champions in 2009 Tamworth have finished 16th, 19th, 18th 19th in their last four respective campaigns.

  5. The sons of Tamworth manager Dale Belford have followed in their father’s footsteps to become goalkeepers. Cameron plays at Tamworth while his younger brother Tyrell represents Swindon Town.

  6. Tamworth are nicknamed The Lambs.

  7. Tamworth have scored 32 league goals this season to FC Halifax Town’s 63.

  8. Tamworth have won seven matches in the Skrill Premier this term, only Hyde have won fewer.

  9. Tamworth play at The Lamb Ground their home since 1934.
