As August ends, FC Halifax Town currently sit top of the Vanarama National League. After yesterdayโs brilliant win against Gateshead, manager Jamie Fullarton spoke to the official website after the match to preview our upcoming fixtures.
It was a very hectic month with seven games, but things wonโt slow down for The Shaymen as September has the same number of fixtures in store. Manager Jamie Fullarton was quite straightforward about the situation as he said:
โWeโre looking forward to seven different type of games but theyโre just as toughโ.
We asked Jamie to expand, about the two very difficult away trips his side will face next.
โEvery game is tough, we played a team that was in the top six today, we now play Sutton United and Wrexham away which will ask us different questions. However, donโt forget we then follow with Leyton Orient at home, so weโve got a few games that we will approach in the same manner, attitude and weโll go out to look to win three points. If you look from the first minute of the first game, our attitude and mentality is to try and win every game that we playโ.
Everyone involved at the football club will be hoping for another three points this upcoming Saturday and we hope to see you down at Sutton United. Head over to Shaymen TV to see manager Jamie Fullartonโs full interview.
