FC Halifax Town will entertain Stockport County on Saturday in the final game of a run of three home matches in a week at the Shay.

It will be 5th vs 4th as both sides look to secure play-off places at the end of the season.

Town will go into the game six points behind our visitors and four points above Bromley who sit in 8th place.

Tuesday’s 1-0 win for the Shaymen thanks to Jake Hyde’s second half strike was the fourth game in a row that Town have scored anf the first clean sheet since the 1-0 away at Altrincham on the 10th April. Town have picked up 16 points from the last 24 on offer as we go into the final month of the season.

Stockport have won their last four away games in a row and are unbeaten in their last 12 games. They have scored in each of their last five games and their last win was a 4-0 win over King’s Lynn Town on Tuesday night at the Walks.

Alex Reid and John Rooney have scored the majority of the goals for County this season with 14 and 12 respectively so far.
