Steve Bushall

Bushall spent the first seven years of his career with York City amassing well over 150 league appearances in that time. He then joined Blackpool in 1998 for three years before moving to Stalybridge in 2001, he played for the club 18 times before joining Halifax in the same year.

The midfielder stayed at the Shay for five years and featured heavily for the club playing 135 times in the league.

After a brief time at Altrincham he came back to Halifax for a second spell in 2007 and made a further14 appearances for the Shaymen before leaving again in 2008 for Hyde.

Steve Torpey

The forward joined Halifax in 2006 after a number of short spells with clubs including Scarborough, Port Vale and FC United of Manchester.

He played for Town for two years scoring 9 goals in 49 matches in the league.

Torpey then moved to Stalybridge on loan in 2008 from Halifax before making the switch permanent in the same year.

In his only full season as a player he played 46 games and scored 12 goals before maming another switch, this time to Telford in 2009.

Lee Elam

The winger joined Halifax in 2003 after leaving Morecambe just one season after signing for the club.

Elam played 16 games for Town and scored two goals but left the club to sign for Yeovil in the same year as signing for Hlaifax.

Stalybridge was the second to last club that Elam would play joining them in 2010, playing 29 matches in his only debut season with Celtic before leaving for Harrogate Town at the end of the season.
