Guest Speakers:
Kevin Keegan. The English former football player and manager rarely does events so it is with great pleasure that we can announce he will be attending our renowned sporting dinner. Such a great speaker is Kevin that we could all quote a few of his line, but his rant aside, he has had an amazing career. With an amazing career comes a vast array of interesting stories, and Kevin may still have one or two untold truths to reveal.
Brian Newbould aka “The Man from the Coal Board” is a renowned funny-man. From Doncaster, the after-dinner speaker has had nothing but glowing reviews and puts his wit and warped sense of humour down to a “life sentence” as an engineer at British Coal. He has entertained a vast spectrum of people and organisations, from The Royal Variety Club, to The Institute of Funeral Directors!
He has worked all over the UK and overseas attending Golf Clubs, Sporting Dinners, Corporate Dinners, Award Ceremonies and Cruise Liners cabaret. He is a fan of cars and motorbikes and he loves flying light aircraft, although a near-fatal collision with power cables did put the amp in dampened enthusiasm for Brian!
From raffles with great prizes and an auction that can’t be missed to an amazing four-course meal and two top-notch guest speakers, the 2014 FC Halifax Town Sporting Dinner will be an evening to remember.
