FC Halifax Town will travel to Southport tomorrow in the Emirates FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen will be looking to reach the first one for the first time since 2022 following 4th qualifying round defeats to Marine & Oldham Athletic in the last two seasons.
Town sit 6th in the Enterprise National League and go into the game with five straight wins under their belt. So far this season Adam Lakeland’s side have won 4, drawn 1 and lost 3 on the road.
Meanwhile Southport sit bottom of the National League North with 1 win, 1 draw and 7 defeats so far this season.
They were defeated 2-0 away at Spennymoor last weekend in the league.
Southport have so far beaten Radcliffe in a replay 3-2 and beat Morpeth 3-1 to book their place in the 4th qualifying round.
There are a number of former Town players in their ranks with Jordan Keane, Sam Minihan, Ted Lavelle and Jordan Slew
