FC Halifax Town will return to the Shay tomorrow to take on Southend United in the Vanarama National League, 12.30pm kick-off.
The Shaymen have lost just once in the opening seven games this seasona and sit 6th in the table with 1 win and 2 draws at home from their opening three games at the Shay with victory over Bromley and points shared with Oxford City and Gateshead.
Last time out Rob Harker’s first half goal was enough to return to West Yorkshire with all three points at local neighbours Rochdale.
Southend sit bottom of the table due to their 10 point deduction from the National League, they would be level on points with the Shaymen without that penalty.
Their home record has seen three wins at Roots Hall and a defeat with Oldham, Eastleigh and Kidderminster all beaten but Hartlepool won 3-2 to return north with the points.
Away from home they beaten Dagenham 2-0 but have lost 2-1 at both Dorking and Bromley so far this season.
They have only used 15 players this season and their top goalscorer is Harry Cardwell who has five goals in the 7 games to date.
The game is an early kick-off at the Shay and admission prices have been reduced to £15 for all adult, 12-17 years olds £9 and all U12s Free
