We have a look at some of the players to have previously played for both The Shaymen and The Moors.

Rory May (Striker) – May joined Halifax on loan during the 2003-2004 season from Lincoln City. He joined in March 2004 for the remainder of that season where he made three appearances without getting on the scoresheet. He then joined Solihull for the 2006-2007 season. May moved to Brackley Town in February of 2007, before re-joining The Moors only a month later. During that season, he managed to score 30 goals in 39 appearances.

Lee Wilson (Striker) – Wilson played for both The Shaymen and Solihull in the 90s. He appeared firstly for Halifax in 1995. During his time at The Shay, Wilson made five appearances, managing 3 goals. It was three years later when the front man made the move to The West Midlands. He played for the now defunct Solihull Borough 10 times during the 1998-1999 season, scoring six goals.

Aron Wint (Striker) – Wint is the most recent man to have appeared for both of today’s sides. He joined Halifax on loan in March 2012. He managed to score on debut, in a 3-1 win over Harrogate Town, however that was the only goal the striker scored in his short spell at The Shay. Wint made a further two appearances for Halifax before returning to parent club Scunthorpe United. Wint then joined The Moors in 2013.
