FC Halifax Town are delighted to confirm the signing of defender Sean Tarima, on a deal until the end of next season, following his departure from Premier League side West Ham United.
Tarima joined the West Ham academy at the age of eight and was a part of a very successful youth side for the Irons. In his first year as a scholar, Tarima played & started every game for the under 18s until injury curtailed his season.
The following season, the defender was a crucial player as the Irons’ under 18 squad won the Under 18 Premier League South title by 17 points and he featured in every round as they won the FA Youth Cup that same year. Following that season’s successes, Tarima was rewarded with his first professional contract for the club.
So far this season, Tarima has made 18 appearances for the development squad at West Ham and featured in EFL Trophy fixtures against Newport County and Cheltenham, before he left the club following a mutual agreement to part ways.
