FC Halifax Town will entertain high flying Salford City tomorrow in the Vanarama National League

We caught up with manager Jamie Fullarton after the last game to get his thoughts on the 90 minutes away at Barrow and look forward to Salford

Seeming quite confident in the performance of the side he said: “I think anyone that seen the game today would’ve seen our performance which was assured in total control especially when you are an away team against a team like barrow who have had an excellent goal record over the past 2 or 3 months it was very pleasing on performance level.”

He said: “There was real assurance about our play belief and confidence, and it did create those chances and obviously bitterly disappointed not to have gained the three points but to put it into context it is 4 points out of 6 against Barrow.”

The amount of chances and the little chances that Barrow did create is showing positive signs for the Shaymen.

“If you looked how the game was, the fact that Barrow didn’t have a shot on goal, I think it reflects how the game was whilst they had a ten minute spell when they had some possession infront of us we broke it up very quickly as they tried to prod and probe and broke to create half chances in the second half.”

With more players available it could’ve raised a selection headache for Jamie to decide but he said that: “Most managers it makes it more difficult for you and your job but that’s what you want, I think if you see how the players are reacting, competition for places which is healthy within such a good group with how they are every day means that they are vying to play”

We take on Salford at home and expecting a big crowd he said that it will be “excellent occasion and obviously there is a little bit of rivalry between the two clubs but if the first game is anything to go by it will definitely be worth watching”
