FC Halifax Town travelled to Cumbria last weekend to face Barrow the third time the two sides have met this season and the score finished 0-0.
Shaymen TV caught up with Scott Quigley after the game to get his thoughts and feelings about the game.
He said, โWe were really good, positive, we were pretty unlucky not to go in up at the break which especially with they had the wind behind them I thought that we had managed the game well.โ
He mentioned the team spirit of the side at the minute saying : โit expressed how good the team spirit weโve got and the actually gut that weโve come here and drew when these are on a really good run, everyone thinks we shouldโve gone on and won the game, thatโs a positive but its one of them at the end of the day sometimes you get them sometimes you donโt.โ
He took some positives out of his own performance from the game which he elaborated on saying โI feel I did everything but score really, first half I thought I did well, before coming here I have only been here 2 weeks Iโm getting my full fitness when I do hit my first goal they will just come.โ
Tomorrow we face Salford who are flying high in the National League we asked him what was he expecting from the game: โI just see it as every game I play, maybe Salford are the exception, but Iโve played in the league before and Iโve been fighting in the play offs, Iโve played against the best in the league so you sort of know what sort of team they are about, theyโll be physical and obviously theyโve spent a lot of money but weโve got nothing to loseโ
