FC Halifax Town will entertain league leaders Rochdale at the Shay on Tuesday night in the Enterprise National League, 7.45pm kick-off.

The Shaymen were defeated 4-1 away at second placed side York City in a Yorkshire derby at the weekend and were defeated 2-1 at home to Gateshead last time at home.

Adam Lakeland’s side have picked up 13 points in the last 24 on offer and have scored in each of their last 6 games. They will need to be at their best to beat local neighbours Rochdale who are battling with York for automatic promotion to the EFL.

Dale have just one loss in their last 16 games which came in a 2-1 defeat at home back on DecemberΒ  30th as Hartlepool returned to the North East with all three points.

They have picked up an impressive 26 points from the last 30 on offer and have scored in each of their last 10 games

Former Town man Mani Dieseruvwe leads their goalscoring charts with 18 goals and he is followed by another former Town frontman in Devanate Rodney with 6. Liam Hogan, Manny Duku and Harvey Gilmour also play for the Lancastrian side

The two sides met back in October and two goals from Josh Hmami put Town into a 2 goal lead, Rodney pulled one back but Town held on for three points.
