FC Halifax Town will be in action on Wednesday night against local neighbours Rochdale in the Vanarama National League, 7.45pm kick-off at the Shay
The Shaymen go into the game in 6th place in the league following a 1-0 win over Boston United at home at the weekend thanks to Jamie Cooke’s second half strike.
Town have now won 6 on home soil, 4 draws and 5 defeats at the Shay and are 7 points clear of Rochdale who sit a place outside the play-off positions but have four games in hand.
Rochdale have 6 wins, 2 draws and 6 defeats away from home this season, last time out they drew 1-1 at Southend at the weekend.
They have failed to win in their last three with a point against Ebbsfleet at home and a narrow 1-0 defeat by Oldham at home. Their last win was a 4-0 win over Yeovil Town at home.
Their last away win was on Boxing Day when they won 3-1 at AFC Fylde thanks to two goals from Kairo Mitchell and one from former Town midfielder Harvey Gilmour
Rochdale won the return fixture 2-1 earlier in the season. Kyron Gordon put Dale ahead, Billy Waters equalised but a late Connor McBride goal gave them all three points
