FC Halifax Town will entertain Oxford City at the Shay Stadium on Saturday afternoon in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen will go into the game in 7th place in the table following two wins and a defeat from the opening three games of the season.
Town started with a 2-0 home victory over Bromley on the opening day, lost 2-0 at Boreham Wood but won 2-1 at local neighbours Oldham Athletic thanks to Adam Senior’s bundled winner from a corner in the second half.
Chris Millington will be looking for a third victory of the season and they will face bottom of the league Oxford City who have lost their opening three games of the season, having been promoted through the play-offs to the National League last season.
On the opening day of the season they lost 5-2 away at Aldershot Town, this was followed up by two home defeats 1-0 against Rochdale last weekend and a 2-1 defeat to Chesterfield in midweek.
All three of their goals this season has been scored by Josh Parker
The last time the two sides met was in the 2012-13 season in the Blue Square North with the Shaymen winning 3-1 at home and 2-2 draw away from home.
