FC Halifax Town will make the short trip to Oldham Athletic on Tuesday night, 7.45pm kick-off.
The Shaymen started the season with a 2-0 victory at home to Bromley followed up by a 2-0 defeat at Boreham Wood at the weekend.
Town boss Chris Millington will be looking for his side to bounce back against his former employers on Tuesday night who sit three places above his side on the same points after two games.
Oldham started their season with a 4-0 defeat at Southend United in a game which saw Will Sutton sent off and he will miss the match due to suspension.
They started their home campaign with a 5-1 win over Aldershot Town with two goals from new signing James Norwood, two from Brennan Dickenson and one from Ben Tollitt in front of 7593 fans at Boundary Park.
There are a couple of familiar faces in the Oldham ranks with Liam Hogan, Dan Gardner and Mike Fondop-Talom all now plying their trade for them.
Last season the Shaymen won both games against Oldham with a 2-1 home victory thanks to goals from Mani Dieseruvwe and Rob Harker, whilst Town returned to West Yorkshire with a 1-0 victory thanks to Dieseruvwe’s second half goal.
Tickets for the game are on sale and there is a discount for purchasing online before the day. See here for more information
