Saturday sees the Shaymen travel down to Nuneaton as FC Halifax Town are looking to get back to winning ways.

Joint Skrill Premier top goal scorer, our very own Lee Gregory scored a speculative volley in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round 2-0 victory at The Boro earlier on this season.

Speaking to a disappointed Gregory after Thursday night’s draw with Braintree, Lee can’t wait to go back.

“Yeah we are looking forward to going back there, bad game tonight we just are looking to recover tomorrow and take Saturday in our stride.”

Nuneaton find themselves one place and one point behind Town having played a game more, Lee knows they are a threat.

“Nuneaton are a good team who are just on the brink of play-offs definitely need to perform a lot better than we did tonight.”

Lee believes picking up the win will be the order of the day.

“We need three points over there, I think we don’t take three points Saturday then I think we might start to drop out of that play-off spot; the pressure is on the Saturday game we need to win that then I think we have got Barnet after that, a win would take us nicely into that.”

The defence goes into Saturday’s game off the back of four straight clean sheets, Lee believes the defence has been stellar throughout the last month.

“The entire March they have been absolutely class I think it is one or two goals in March against Hyde of all teams, but yeah they have been class and it is a credit to them.”

Goal scoring Gregory in the meanwhile says he will “Go to work Friday, refuel and start again Saturday!”

Kick off at Nuneaton 15:00 Saturday 5th April.
