FC Halifax Town will be in Cup action this weekend with the visit of Notts County to the Shay on Saturday in the Buildbase FA Trophy, 3pm kick-off.
Town go into the game having had a two week break from matches due to last weekend’s game against Bromley being called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
Our last game saw a 3-1 victory away at Dagenham courtesy of goals from Matt Warburton and two from top goalscorer Billy Waters.
Notts County were in league action in midweek with a 6-1 home win over Barnet which sees them 8th in the Vanarama National League table. Their goals were scored by Elisha Sam (2), Callum Robers, Ruben Rodrigues, Kyle Wootton and Matt Palmer.
The two sides met back in October which saw the Shaymen win 3-2 thanks to a winner in the 10th minute of injury time despite being down to 10 men as Tom Bradbury was sent off at 2-0 down but goals from Jordan Slew, Billy Waters and that late goal from Matty Warburton earnt the Shaymen the three points.
If the match is level at the final whistle, it will be decided by a penalty shoot-out with no extra time.
