It’s 5th vs 7th at the Shay on Tuesday night as FC Halifax Town host Notts County in our latest Vanarama National League game, 7.45pm kick-off.

The Shaymen are unbeaten in five games with three wins and two draws and have kept three clean sheets in a row.

Town drew 0-0 with Barnet at the weekend in difficult conditions down at the Hive to continue the run of unbeaten games which has also seen victories over both Southend and Stockport on home soil.

Notts County have lost their last two games with a 1-0 defeat away at Altrincham and a 4-1 home defeat to Woking at the weekend which included two goals from former Shayman Tahvon Campbell.

County had been unbeaten until the Altrincham game and will be looking to return to winning ways at the Shay.

Last season Town took four points in the two games against our visitors. A 1-1 home draw at the Shay, Elisha Sam put County ahead before Jamie Allen equalised in the 90th minute. In the return game, goals from Jake Hyde and Tahvon Campbell helped the Shaymen to a 2-1 victory.

Kyle Wootton is County’s top goalscorer, he played for Town on loan from Scunthorpe United earlier in his career making 3 appearances for the Shaymen.
