FC Halifax Town travel to North Ferriby United on Monday in the final away pre-season game before the 2017/18 season starts. Kick-off is 7.45pm
The Shaymen have beaten Rochdale at home 2-0 and drew 0-0 against Carlisle United in the last two home games against EFL opposition and the clean sheets will have pleased manager Billy Heath.
In Town’s last away outing, Alfreton Town beat Town 1-0 courtesy of a Billy Priestley header in the second half at the Impact Arena.
North Ferriby United who were relegated from the Vanarama National last season, were 4-0 winners in their last game away on Saturday at Winterton Rangers and with their former boss Billy Heath and many players returning to face them on Monday night, they will be looking for a victory against the Shaymen.
There is one former Halifax Town player in the North Ferriby squad expected to play against us tomorrow night and that’s Russell Fry.
For North Ferriby, there will be a number of familiar faces including Billy Heath and the backroom team from the Shay, along with the likes of Tom Denton, Nathan Hotte, Tom Nicholson, Josh Wilde, Danny Clarke, Liam King and new signing this summer Connor Oliver.
