FC Halifax Town recorded a 4-0 win tonight against Mossley FC tonight in a late rearranged pre-season game.
Town were due to face Worksop Town last night but was called off due to a waterlogged pitch and with Mossleyโs game at the weekend off, both sides were happy to play each other tonight.
Richard Peniket made it three goals in two games with a header past the Mossley trialist goalkeeper in the first half and Jake Hibbs made it 2-0 shortly afterwards after the keeper had parried Matt Kosyloโs shot.
Boss Billy Heath made 10 subs at half time as he continued to give his squad game time during pre-season.
It was two of the substitutes who scored in the second half Sharaz Khan with a tap into an empty net after rounding the keeper with just minutes remaining and there was still time for Elliott Harrison to round the night off with Townโs fourth..
