As Jamie Fullarton’s Town side travel to Morecambe this weekend, in the first round of the FA Cup, we take a look at the previous results between the two sides.
The last game between FC Halifax Town and Morecambe was a friendly at The MBi Shay Stadium, which resulted in a well-earned 6-2 victory for The Shaymen.
The visitors in fact held the lead for the whole of the first-half after Paul Mullin scored in the fifth minute. However, two early second half goals from the lively wingers, Matty Kosylo and Josh MacDonald saw the Shrimps fall behind.
A brace for Mullin was completed on the 55th as he equalised for Morecambe, but a rampant FC Halifax scored four goals in the final half-half hour through Scott Garner, Tom Denton and a double from Richard Peniket to complete a classy second half for Town.
