FC Halifax Town will entertain Morecambe at the Shay in the Enterprise National League on Wednesday night, 7.45pm kick-off.
The Shaymen won 2-1 at home to Boston United at the weekend and sit 8th in the table just a point outside the play-offs but Southend have three games in hand.
Town have won 7, drawn 4 and lost 2 on home soil this season in the league, winning the last three at home in all competitions. They have scored in each of the last six games and have picked up 16 points from the last 24 on offer.
Morecambe are 22nd in the table and have just one win in their last seven league games which was a 2-0 victory over Brackley Town on the 21st December.
