FC Halifax Town qualified for the first-round proper for the second time since the reformation of the club. Town travelled to then a League One outfit. The Sheymen put up a strong robust defensive performance in the first half, The Dons only had one goal at the break. Shaun Williams quickly doubled the lead after the break, Izale McLeod gt his second of the game soon after. Lee Gregory gave Town a slim hope with over 10 minutes to go, but as Town were chasing the game Brendon Galloway took advantage of this and got The Dons’ fourth of the match.
