FC Halifax Town have signed 34 year old Scottish midfielder Martin Woods.
He started his career at Leeds United coming through their academy and he was capped by Scotland Youth making appearances at U17, U19 and U21 levels. He made one substitute appearance and he had a loan spell with Hartlepool United whilst at Elland Road.
Woods gained Premier League experience joining Sunderland making 7 appearances before spells with Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley.
He moved back north of the border joining Ross County for two spells with a couple of months at Shrewsbury Town in between.
Woods was part of the Partick Thistle side which was relegated through the play-offs at the end of the season before joining Dundee in November 2018 until the end of the season.
