FC Halifax Town U19s beat Marine 4-0 at Leeds Road Sports Complex this morning to book our place in the next round of the League Cup.
Marine missed an early penalty before Town scored four goals without reply as well as hitting the woodwork on a couple of occasions
The visitors finished the game with 10 men following a challenge which led to a penalty to the Shaymen, which was converted but was disallowed due to the player stopping in the run up prior to striking the ball.
Town’s youngsters will travel to Fleetwood Town next Wednesday in the FA Youth Cup 1st Round, 7pm kick-off
