FC Halifax Town make the trip down to Kent to face Maidstone United in the Vanarama National League on Tuesday.

Halifax were unable to score against struggling Aldershot last time out. However, were able to get another clean sheet as the score remained 0-0. Maidstone suffered at the hands of local rivals Bromley. A goal in each half condemned the Stones to another defeat as their relegation fears continue.

The result sees the Shaymen drop two places to 18th, just two points clear of the bottom four. Maidstone meanwhile remain second bottom and are now 10 points adrift of safety and one point off bottom.

The reverse game saw the Shaymen run out 3-0 winners with goals from Cameron King, Ben Tomlinson, and Dayle Southwell. However, the last time Town visited the Gallagher, neither side was able to score with Mike Fondop-Talom missing a penalty.

Maidstone havenโ€™t won a league game since the 5th of January where they came out 2-1 winners away to Hartlepool. However, Town havenโ€™t won in the league since Boxing Day where the Shaymen won 2-1 away to Harrogate Town.
