Over 40 National League clubs are running area finals with the winners progressing into four regional tournaments.  From which the four winners will then go onto compete the final, to be played at Wembley Stadium prior to the Promotion Final on Sunday 14th May.

Steve Nichol, Head of Youth, Junior and Community Football Development said: “Today’s event was a great showcase for our work in the community using football to bring together children from different backgrounds and working towards a more integrated society.  The tournament ran in a really good feel to it; played in a competitive but relaxed atmosphere where the players were able to enjoy the playing the game whilst feeling comfortable to express themselves as a result there was some great football on display.

“Congratulations to Withinfields Primary School we shall support the school in the way of free coaching sessions to give the team the best possible chance of representing Halifax in the national final.”
