  1. The now deceased Keith Alexander became Lincoln City manager in 1993, making him the first-ever permanently appointed black manager in the Football League.
  2. Born in Lincoln, former Premier League footballer Jamie Clapham went on to follow in his Grandfather’s footsteps (Bert Wilkinson) by playing for Lincoln City in the 2010-11 campaign.
  3. Lincoln City were locked in the fourth tier of English Football after suffering play-off heartache for five successive seasons (2002-2007,) losing in the 2003 & 2005 play-off finals.
  4. Lincoln City Captain Alan Power has his own TV show called “The POWER hour” shown on Yorkshire & Lincolnshire local news.
  5. Sincil Bank is the sixth biggest stadium in the league.
  6. Lincoln Cathedral lies just 1.5 miles away from Sincil Bank
  7. Lincoln City are nicknamed “The Imps”
  8. In 1990-91 Lincoln were sponsored by removal company “Pickfords”
  9. Kit manufactures Umbro have twice supplied kits for Lincoln City in 1973-78 & 2007-11 respectively.
  10. Lincoln City have had 10 different managers in the 21st century.
