Josh Emmanuel has joined FC Halifax Town from Doncaster Rovers
Capable of playing all down the right side, Emmanuel spent time in the academies at West Ham United and Ipswich Town. It was at the latter he made his competitive debut on the opening day of the 2015-16 season. Whilst with Ipswich, Emmanuel had loan spells at Crawley Town, Rotherham United, and Shrewsbury Town before he was released by the Tractor Boys in 2019.
Subsequently, the defender signed for Bolton Wanderers in League One and made over 30 appearances in his only season at the club. Prior to the start of the 2020/21 season, Emmanuel signed for Hull City and made over 30 appearances in all competitions as they won promotion back to the Championship.
After two and a half years with the Tigers, Emmanuel made the switch to Grimsby Town in League Two. He was part of the team that reached the quarter finals of the FA Cup by beating Southampton 2-1.
Following the end of the 2022/23 season, Emmanuel was released and signed for Carlisle United in League One. However, following Carlisleβs relegation back to League Two, the defender was again released and signed for Doncaster Rovers.
