FC Halifax Town have announced the departure of Jordan Burrow to Gateshead FC for an undisclosed fee. The striker, who was Townโs top scorer last season, will return to the top tier of non-league football and reunite with former Halifax manager Neil Aspin, who first brought Burrow to the MBi Shay. The former Lincoln City man has signed an 18-month contract with Gateshead.
He played the full game in Townโs FA Trophy triumph at Wembley in May and scored 18 goals in all competitions last term, including three over the two legs of the Trophy semi-final against Nantwich Town. FC Halifax Town would like to wish Jordan all the best for the future.
We apologise for the delay in the announcement of Jordan’s departure as Gateshead decided to announce the transfer without agreeing a time with us.
