FC Halifax Town are delighted to confirm the signing of centre back Jevon Mills, following his release from Championship side Hull City.
Having joined the Tigers in the under 13s, Mills signed his first professional contract there in 2021. Just one month later, the defender made his professional debut in a Championship fixture against Cardiff City. That year, Mills also captained the Republic of Ireland under 19s for two fixtures. In January 2022, Mills joined Falkirk in the Scottish League One for the remainder of the season as they finished 6th.
In September 2022, Mills signed for Gateshead on loan, and made his debut in a 4-1 win over Maidstone United. The centre back made six appearances before returning to Hull in January. The following month, Mills joined Solihull Moors on a one-month loan, which was then extended for a further month. He made nine appearances as Solihull finished 15th.
In February 2024, the defender signed for Bohemians on loan in the League of Ireland Premier Division. Initially until the end of June, this was extended through to the end of their season before returning to Hull in November. Mills made 26 appearances and scored once as they finished 8th. At the end of last season, Mills was released by Hull.
