FC Halifax Town are delighted to announce the signing of centre back Jake Griffin from Championship side Stoke City.
Having come through the academy at Stoke, Griffin made 15 appearances in the Under 18 Premier League in the 2022/23 season as the Potters finished 5th. The following season, the defender stepped up to the under 21s and made five appearances in Premier League 2. During that season, Griffin also received his first call ups to the Republic of Ireland under 19 squad.
Last season, Griffin joined Brackley Town on a one-month loan in December. He made four appearances for the Saints and went unbeaten in those fixtures. He also made 19 appearances in Premier League 2, captaining the side towards the back end of the season as the Stoke under 21s finished 25th.
