In the second friendly of the day, FC Halifax Town fell a 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town B Team at Canalside.
Two first half strikes from the hosts consigned the Shaymen to their second defeat of pre-season.
After an even opening period, Huddersfield struck first. A ball from the left-hand side found it’s man on the edge of the box and his low finish found the bottom corner with the keeper at full stretch
Just a minute later and the Terriers doubled their advantage. Again, cutting in from the left-hand side, the Huddersfield man fired a shot towards goal and found the top corner to make it 2-0.
Up next for the Shaymen is a trip down to Alvechurch on Saturday 20th 15:00 kick-off.
