FC Halifax Town will entertain Hartlepool United at the Shay on Tuesday night in the Enterprise National League, 7.45pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the game on the back of Friday night’s 2-1 defeat away at Altrincham.
Town got their first victory of the league season in their last home game with a 4-1 victory over Tamworth at the Shay and will be looking to build on that result with the visit of Hartlepool
John McGrath’s side are 18th in the table with one win and one defeat on home soil so far in the opening four games scoring 5 goals and conceding four in those games.
Hartlepool are 12th in the table and won their first two games with victory over Barrow at home and Aldershot Town away. However their last two games have both seen defeat losing 2-1 away at Sutton United and 1-0 at home to Eastleigh.
They have scored four goals this campaign so far with McKeown leading the goalscoring charts with 2. Nolan and Harris both have one each.
Harris scored the only goal of the game for the Shaymen in the last meeting of the two sides back in March 2026 to give Adam Lakeland’s side all three points.
The game will be played on Tuesday night having been moved from Bank Holiday Monday due to West Yorkshire policying requirements.
