FC Halifax Town will entertain Hartlepool United in the Enterprise National League on Saturday afternoon, 3pm kick-off.

The Shaymen will be looking to return to winning ways in the league following a 2-0 defeat away at league leaders Carlisle United in midweek and a 2-0 defeat at home to League One side Exeter City last weekend.

Town sit 9th in the table with three home wins, three draws and just one defeat at The Shay this season and are four points outside the play-offs picking up 17 points form the last 27 on offer.

Hartlepool are in 11th place two points behind the Shaymen and have just one win their last six games which came in a 2-0 victory over Solihull Moors at home.

Last weekend they drew 1-1 with Morecambe at home going ahead in the 3rd minute from Adam Campbell but Morecambe equalised from the penalty spot in the second half.

They have won two, drawn three and lost three on the road with their only victories at Gateshead and Altrincham.

Jay Benn and Jack Hunter will be two familiar faces in the Hartlepool squad.

Last season, Town drew 0-0 at Hartlepool and lost 1-0 at home thanks to Reyes Cleary’s first half goal.
