FC Halifax Town will make the trip to Hartlepool United on Good Friday in the first of two Easter weekend games in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the game back outside of the play-offs following last weekend’s postponement against Ebbsfleet United in 8th place two points behind Aldershot Town.
Town have at least one game in hand on every team around them and go into the game at Hartlepool looking for a 10th league away win of the campaign.
Chris Millington’s side have won 7 of the last 8 games they have played including away wins at Oxford City and Dorking Wanderers. The only defeat came at 2nd placed Bromley
Hartlepool are 14th in the table and they come into the game following a 7-1 away defeat at Gateshead in midweek. They went 1-0 up through Joe Grey but Gateshead equalised through Luke Hannant’s first half penalty but six unanswered goals in the second half gave them a heavy defeat.
They have picked up two draws and lost three of their last five games. Their last victory was a 3-2 win ove Altrincham at home back on the 20th February.
Former Town striker Mani Dieseruvwe leads their top goalscoring charts with 19 goals in 33 games
Town won the return match 2-1 at home back in October. Max Wright put the Shaymen ahead, Dieseruvwe eqauslied but Adam Senior’s goal just after the break sealed the points.
The Shaymen will entertain York City at the Shay on Easter Monday, 3pm kick-off
