Hartlepool United: Match Preview

FC Halifax Town will start 2021 with a home game against Hartlepool United for the third weekend in a row.

The two sides met on the 19th December in the Buildbase FA Trophy which finished as a 3-3 draw and Town booked their place in the next round after a 4-2 win on penalties.

Town travelled to Hartlepool on Boxing Day and finished the game with 10 men as Nyal Bell got two yellow cards and Hartlepool ran out 3-1 winners.

Both sides faced different opposition on Mondy with Town winning 3-2 at home to Altrincham, whilst Dave Challinor’s side won 1-0 away at Notts County

Hartlepool are 2nd in the table 11 points behind the leaders Torquay United, whilst Town have moved up to 7th in the table just five points below our visitors.
