FC Halifax Town rescued a point away from home at Guiseley this week.
Town started the fixture slowly and struggled to get a grip on the game, it seemed like the visitors were second to every contact and loose ball. This lacklustre start would prove costly as Guiseley would go up 1-0 in the 20th minute, and this trend would continue as the hosts would double their advantage in the 48th minute.
Despite the deficit Halifax would not go down without a fight as they got into gear and started displaying some promising patterns of play, and their efforts paid off in the 55th minute as Jayden Cuffe would put his team right back into the game as he made it 2-1. Town would keep this momentum for the remainder of the game in search of an equaliser, and in the dying moments of the game the visitors would find that leveller as Hamza Hamdosh found himself on the scoresheet. This would prove to be the final decisive action of the game, with the final score being Guiseley 2-2 FC Halifax Town.
