Matty Kosylo says he is happy to get back on the pitch, as he scored a dramatic late equaliser to earn FC Halifax Town a well-deserved point, in their 2-2 draw with Gateshead.
“I was nervous about my knee, I went from panic mode at Fylde to getting a clear scan and returning,” said Kosylo to Shaymen TV at full-time.
“I think we did well, we deserved more than what we got, I gave a petty free-kick away at the end which cost us a goal, I was disappointed with that, but on a whole we deserved more than a point.”
The match makes it 3 games in a row where Town have scored twice, making Town a real attacking threat to any team.
“We’re creating chance after chance now, we’re slicing a lot of defences open, teams that are up there.”
New Town boss Jamie Fullerton has only lost once since joining the club, with Town seeing a boost in performances since his arrival.
“We’ve lost one game since he has been here, so I think that says a lot, he’s drilling into us what he expects, and we are returning the favour back by applying it to game situations.”
“We have that never say die attitude at the minute.”
The Shaymen now look to Saturday, when they face relegation battlers Torquay.
“They will be fighting for everything, so it will be a tough game.”
