The games are coming thick and fast for FC Halifax Town. After a disappointing 2-1 defeat yesterday, The Shaymen must prepare to host Gateshead tomorrow afternoon. The official website spoke to manager Jamie Fullarton after the match to get his thoughts on our upcoming opponents.
We asked Jamie if yesterday’s result was all the motivation needed to get back to winning ways.
“The group is strong and they set high standards. Our mantra is to try and win every game so when we don’t, we’re naturally disappointed. The important factor is that we now have another game on Monday and we’ve got to dust ourselves down and get ready to focus on Gateshead”.
Tomorrow’s match will be the seventh game that FC Halifax Town have played in the month of August alone. They only have one day to rest, recover and prepare for the match tomorrow, so we asked the manager how he prepares for a game that comes so quickly.
“We prepare for this the same as we do every game, but it just means that the timescale is different. On Monday we’ll be looking to be prepared and ready to win the three points”.
