FC Halifax Town will entertain bottom of the league Gateshead in the Enterprise National League on Tuesday night, 7.45pm kick-off.

The Shaymen won 1-0 at the weekend thanks to Will Harris’s late goal to earn all three points against 22nd placed side Truro City at home.

It was Town’s first victory since the 24th January and sees Town remain in 7th place in the table.

Adam Lakeland’s side have picked up 23 points from the last 33 on offer and have scored in each of the last four games in all competitions.

Gateshead have not won in 16 league games and they haven’t won in their last 8 away from home. They haven’t picked up any points in the last 24 on offer.

At the weekend they lost 2-1 at home to Brackley Town and in their last away game they were beat 1-0 at Boston

Kain Adom was their top goalscorer with 10 goals in 23 games but he left in January to join Burton Albion. Kyle Hurst and Harry Chapman both have four goals this season.

The two sides met at the International Stadium back in September in difficult rainy conditions, Adom put the home side ahead but goals from Jay Turner-Cooke and David Kawa earnt Lakeland’s side all three points.
