FC Halifax Town travel to Gateshead on Tuesday night in in the Vanarama National League, 7.45pm kick-off
The Shaymen go into the game in 8th position in their first game of 2025 following two postponements at home against AFC Fylde and the away game at Southend United at the weekend.
Town have picked up 20 points on the road this season with five victories, five draws and just two defeats. Goals have been scarce in away games with just 12 scored but just 9 conceded in the 12 games to date.
Gateshead are 4th in the table and have won 9, drawn 1 and lost two one home soil so far this season scoring 26 goals and conceding just 11
They lost 1-0 away at York on New Year’s Day, their home game at the weekend was postponed due to the weather.
Their last home game saw them beat Hartlepool 4-3 at the International Stadium
Owen Oseni was their top scorer with 12 goals this season but has departed this month for Scottish side St Mirren.
The two sides met at the Shay back in August 2024 with Oseni putting Heed ahead but Adam Senior equalised just two minutes later.
