Former Shaymen In The Play-Offs

Next weekend is the Promotion Finals as AFC Fylde take on Salford City both looking to join the Football League for the first time in their history.

AFC Fylde have beaten Harrogate Town and Solihull Moors in the play-offs to reach the final, whilst Salford beat Eastleigh earlier today on penalties to earn their place in the final at Wembley on Saturday.

There will be 5 Former Town players possibly playing in the game as Liam Hogan, Lois Maynard and Devante Rodney all play for Salford City, whilst former Town loanees Russell Griffiths and James Hardy play for AFC Fylde.

In the National League North, Spennymoor will take on Chorley whilst Woking will be looking to return to the National at the first time of asking when they take on Welling United in the National League South final.

Again there are are a number of ex Town man in the National League North final, Rob Atkinson, Jake Hibbs both play for Spennymoor whilst Shaun Tuton, Josh Wilson and Marcus Carver all play for Chorley.

James Ferry joined Woking permanently at the end of March having played for the Shaymen earlier in the season whilst on loan from Stevenage.
