There have only been a couple of meeting between FC Halifax Town and Farsley Celtic, or at least since Town reformed in 2008. We look at these past meetings, and an FA Cup meeting from 2005.
The sides met twice in 2015, with a friendly being organised at Throstle Nest, before the two were drawn together in the West Riding County Cup later that year. In the friendly, Town ran out comfortable 5-1 winners and the cup meeting saw Halifax win in a less convincing, but comfortable style as they took a 2-0 victory to progress to the next round as the highest ranked team in the competition.
In 2005, whilst known as Halifax Town AFC, it was Halifax who progressed in the FA Cup as they won 2-0 at the Shay. It took a brace from Chris Senior to separate the sides.
The game will take place on Saturday, 3pm kick-off
