Known as the Celt Army, Farsley Celtic were formed in 1908, however were forced to reform in 2010 as Farsley AFC.
They play at what is now known as the Citadel, formerly Throstle Nest. The ground holds 4,000 people with the capacity to seat 300 people.
They are managed by Adam Lakeland who helped the club to promotion from the Evo-Stik League Premier Division last season, winning the division. They are now preparing for the new season in the Vanarama National League North,
