The date for the End of Season Awards Dinner has been moved due to the outstanding success of the FC Halifax Town team and management.
At the point of arranging and booking the Dinner for this year, first and foremost was getting a date in the diary, after losing the event at the end of last season.
No one could have foreseen the extent of the excellent run of results culminating in nine wins and a draw, prior to our defeat at Southport on Bank Holiday Monday.
Now that we are likely to be in the play-offs, we do still need one point to be sure, no one wants to jeopardise our chances of progressing through those play-off semi-finals, with the two games being so close together.
In agreement with manager Neil Aspin, we have moved the date of the event to Sunday 11th May at Cedar Court Bradford, from the previous date of Friday 2nd May.
This leave a week’s gap before any Wembley Final should we be fortunate to be one of the participants, which is acceptable.
We apologise for these circumstances, let us hope we have an extra celebration by the time of the event. The speakers will be confirmed as soon as we can.
Any hotel bookings for accommodation on the date of the original event, can be discussed in respect of moving to the new date with Debbie Charlton.
