FC Halifax Town play their third game in a week as they welcome Ebbsfleet United to the Shay this Saturday for a 3pm kick off in the next round of the Vanarama National League.

The Shaymen come into the game sitting in 12th position on 46 points after Tuesday nights dominant 3-0 victory over Barnet. James Ferry got his second goal in as many games and there was home debut goals for strikers Manny Duku and Devante Rodney. After the away win last week at Eastleigh it is the first back to back wins for the Shaymen since August.

Ebbsfleet are in 10th position on 52 points. The Fleet have fallen away from the play-offs after only picking up five points from a possible fifteen. Just a single away win to Harrogate is the only time they’ve picked up maximum points in their last five outings.

When the two sides met earlier on in the season it was a day to forget for all Shaymen fans. A 4-0 win for Ebbsfleet was the result in late November. Two goals to Michael Cheek and one each for Chris Bush and Danny Kedwell gave the Fleet the three points.

In the fixture at the Shay last season it was Ebbsfleet who came out on top. Matty Kosylo scored in the first half to give Town the lead but two second half goals from the Fleet gave them a 2-1 victory.

Now unbeaten in five with three wins in that run confidence is high in the squad and are looking get another three points.
