Although this was not the result that Town were hoping for pre-match, Adam Morgan was able to look to the future when speaking after the final whistle.
The Shaymen were unable to pick up any points away at Ebbsfleet United and were beaten by two goals from first half substitute Sean Shields.
βWeβre disappointed to lose 2-0, I didnβt feel that there was much in the game, I think if the one off the post goes in in the first half, then itβs a different gameβ the forward said.
Morgan showed that his focus is now firmly on the next match against Wrexham on Tuesday. He said, βIt happens in football, weβve got a big game on Tuesday, we need to recover well and go again.β
Morgan admitted that it was frustrating but that he felt he had played well himself. Morgan said, βI thought I played quite well, I worked hard but Iβm a winner and I donβt want to be losing 2-0.β
βIf they are slowing the play up then of course Iβm going to ask the referee whatβs going on. Weβd do the same if we were 2-0 up, so it was out of frustration because we know that we can play better than that,β He added.
The attacker also spoke about being selected for the starting line-up and seeing out the 90 minutes.
βIβve always said that I believe I should be in the starting line-up,β
βI thank the gaffer for giving me the chance and I thought I played well. Thereβs lots more to come from me.β
