FC Halifax Town manager Jamie Fullarton believes that what happens on the pitch in matches, starting Saturday will reflect what he and the club are to the fans.
The former Notts County manager watched on from the stands in the home victory over Hartlepool United, which was the first league win of the year.
“What happens on the pitch over a period will reflect what I am, which hopefully then reflects what the fans and the club are.”
Fullarton insists that although he does want his players to create on the pitch, the priority is getting a result in the coming games.
“My immediate focus is to get results, but in doing that I will try and get the team to create on the pitch.”
The 43-year old reiterated his desire to grind out results and that will start with the trip to Eastleigh on Saturday.
“Moving forward, it is how you win the games, but at this precise moment it is just about winning those games to stay in this division.”
Fullarton thinks that if the players mirror image the performance which they put in against Hartlepool United on Tuesday, then the result should take care of itself.
“Structure and organisation. That is something that I want to help the players with. They need to put in the same sort of performance as they did on Tuesday and get that result.”
You can see Jamie Fullarton’s first game in charge away to Eastleigh by booking on the coach on 07707 143094.
If you cannot make the game, it will be covered over social media and with full uninterrupted audio commentary with your commentator Aidan Jones
Following the match, there will be post-match reaction from the dugout as well as two players, which will be available on ShaymenTV over the weekend.
