FC Halifax Town will travel to Eastleigh in the Enterprise National League on Saturday, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen are 8th in the table and have now won 5 out of their last 6 games in league and cup, just losing 2-1 away at Forest Green during that run.
Town beat Morecambe 1-0 at the Shay in midweek which followed a 2-1 victory over Boston both on home soil and keeps Adam Lakeland’s side in contention of pushing for a play-off place.
His side will be looking for a 6th away victory of the league season at Eastleigh having picked up maximum points at Tamworth, Rochdale, Morecambe, Gateshead and Boston United.
Eastleigh are 15th in the table 13 points behind Town and have picked up 4 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats at home this season
They were beat 4-1 away at Southend United in midweek and lost by the same scoreline at home last weekend by Aldershot Town
The Spitfires have just one win in 5 and picked up 9 points from the last 27 on offer but have scored in each of their last 6 games. They haven’t won at home in the league since the 25th October when they beat Morecambe 2-1
Former Town man Niall Maher has been on the bench three times over the last few weeks
Their top goalscorer is Aaron Blair who has scored 10 league goals this season
The two sides met at the Shay back in September, Goals from Massiah-Edwards and Fernandez put Eastleigh 2-0 up but goals in the final 10 minutes from Owen Devonport and Thierry Latty-Fairweather gave Town a point.
